He started collecting American wines but always had a devotion to bourbon. Harry's passion for wine and bourbon started in the late seventies when he lived in Kentucky while in the military.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in the Tennessee Whiskey Region, 34 classes at Whiskey University on January 15th, 2023. On August 10th, 2022 Harry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in the Bourbon Capital Region with 26 classes at Whiskey University. He now resides in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, with his wife of over 20 years and their son, Zachary, and Goldendoodle, Stella. Harry was born in May of 1960 in Brooklyn but grew up in Staten Island, New York. Next, Harry spent twenty-seven years in the Orthopedic medical device industry as a Sales Representative/Manager and Sales Education Manager for Stryker Corporation. Next, Harry spent nine years as an Orthopedic Surgical Assistant at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan, New York. Harry is a proud Army Veteran, and this is where he started his medical career as an Army Combat Medic. Harry earned his Associate Degree after passing 18 classes on On August 10, 2022 Harry earned his Bourbon Diploma on May 7th, 2022. Harry earned his Bourbon Diploma on June 13, 2022. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees. Harry Casazza has been a member of Whiskey University since March 2022. 7.) Mike earned his Associate Degree after passing 16 classes on December 14th, 2021. Throughout his Whiskey University education and classes, he has amassed a selection of over 150 different bourbon and ryes in his ever growing collection! Prior to joining Whiskey University, he kept a regular rotation of 40 bourbons & ryes. Mike is looking forward to sharing his passion with others to start their whiskey journey through classes and tastings. This can aide in exploring new types of alcohol to enjoy. Through his years he has learned that people will gravitate to certain flavor profiles.
As a bartender he learned to try everything to ensure accuracy and quality of his service. He started with a passion for mixology and beer styles which later grew into his devotion to bourbon and rye.
Mike had a 9-year career as a bartender starting in early 1991. He is very involved with his church, coaching youth sports and training for his brown belt in the Israeli self-defense method of Krav Maga.
He resides in the Lake Hopatcong section of Jefferson, New Jersey with his wife of over 22 years and their 2 children. Mike was born in December of 1971 in central N.J. Mike earned his Bourbon Diploma on September 28th, 2021.ġst Lieutenant Polhamus is the owner of The Repair Pros LLC a mobile leather restoration and upholstery repair business that services automotive, marine, commercial and residential customers in NJ, NY and PA. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. Michael Polhamus has been a member of Whiskey University since August 2021.
